Senior Pastor: Rev. Jim Warren |

Jim Warren came to First Christian Church as our Senior Pastor
in December 1998. Prior to that, he had served Marion Christian
Church in Marion, Iowa for 14 1/2 years. He grew up in Mattoon,
Illinois and is a lifelong member of the Christian Church (Disciples
of Christ). He graduated from Olivet College in Kankakee, Illinois.
He received his Master of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity
School in Cambridge, Massachusetts and his Doctor of Ministry
degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo,
California. Jim and his wife, Sharon, have ten children.
Jim is an avid Cubs fan and is always looking forward to next
year. He also has a reputation for wearing really ugly ties. He
and his family live in an old house in the historic Dimmitt's
Grove neighborhood, so he spends much of his spare time remodeling
and restoring their 1868 home.

Director of Children and Youth Ministries: Greg Summers |

Greg Summers was born and raised in
Benton, Illinois. He holds
a B.S.
degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland University College and a
Master of Art in Economics from the University of Oklahoma. He served as an accountant
in the Air Force for 20 years prior to accepting God’s call to the
youth ministry.
He is currently pursuing his
Masters of Divinity Degree at Lincoln Christian Seminary.
Greg is a licensed minister and has extensive experience in working with
youth in Church Camps,
Special Olympics and school
mentoring programs.. He is a life-long member of the Christian Church
(Disciples of Christ).
Greg enjoys sports, reading and spending time with his family – his wife
Christi and two children, Greg Jr. and Melissa. He joined the staff of Bloomington First Christian Church
in June of 2005.

Minister of Music: Michael Fitch |

Michael Fitch is an ordained minister with
the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) who has served as
pastor for several congregations in Illinois. In addition to
his Master of Divinity degree, Michael holds a Master of Music
degree and brings both theological and conducting expertise to
the congregation. Besides his work as the part-time director of
music ministries at FCC, Michael is employed at State Farm.
Michael is founder and long-time director of the Arts Drama
Dance and Music "ADDaM" Camp for the Christian Church in Illinois and Wisconsin.
